Each live webinar is 60 – 90 minutes and offers 1 - 1.5 CEUs.
The world of educational offerings is changing. As much as CHIA enjoys face-to-face seminars and events, CHIA is pivoting to virtual experiences. eLearning Programs provide attendees with a hybrid offering of live webinars, prerecorded materials or a combination thereof. These events offer flexible access to continuing education anytime, anywhere.
eLearning Programs consist of presentations greater than two hours. Programs may be offered in multiple parts or modules or single day events.
CHIACON is California’s premier event for health information professionals and offers education on a variety of topics and networking opportunities to a wide spectrum of professionals, from entry-level, to middle and senior management, plus those involved in related fields.
This exciting event is held annually in June.

This series will help you navigate and understand the complex state and federal laws, and best practices related to managing and releasing protected health information. This self-paced elearning environment that will help you learn the skills needed become a Release of Information professional.
The in-person seminar provides face-to-face engagement with instructors and peers, conducted in classrooms, hotel meeting rooms, or similar locations; generally held in Northern and Southern California. Attendees receive CEUs based on the length of the program (typically 5 – 6 CEUs).
Due to the current COVID pandemic, CHIA values the health and safety of its attendees, speakers, exhibitors and staff; therefore, face-to-face events are temporarily on hold.
