The California Health Information Association (CHIA) Online Education Committee has developed the CHIA Online Education Program in a collaborative partnership.

Current Course available

The Online Education for the Release of Information in California course program is a self-paced, 12-module course which will help you learn the skills you need to become a Release of Information professional. It is anticipated that all of the modules will be available online at summer’s end (2007). It is highly recommended that for students to be successful they take the ROI Introduction Module prior to other modules..

Continuing the course modules

At the time you initially signed in, you were asked to provide a preferred e-mail address. This e-mail address so noted becomes your User Name for login to access the course module(s) and  to which your ''Welcome'' e-mail is sent. If you wish to take an additional course module, you will need to use the same ''preferred'' e-mail address for each subsequent module that you wish to take. If you are unable to use the same 'preferred' e-mail address, please contact the CHIA Executive Office via e-mail, OnlineEducation@CaliforniaHIA.org, specify which e-mail address you wish now to use and we'll manually change for you. You'll be contacted when that change takes place so you'll be able to sign up for the next course module.
