CHIA Ballot Now Open
SDHIA endorses Connie Renda for Director for the 2017 CHIA Election. Connie has been a member of AHIMA, CHIA and SDHIA since 2000. She is an outstanding educator who developed one of the first Bachelor of Science degree programs in HIM for the California Community Colleges. She was the founder and CEO of Integrity Health Information Services for almost a decade. Connie is advancing our profession with her groundbreaking work in the development of HIM Re-imagined on behalf of AHIMA and the AHIMA House of Delegates, as well as Past-Chair of the CHIA Academics Committee. Connie is an inspirational speaker and author. Please show your support and appreciation by voting for Connie Renda for CHIA Director.

SDHIA Student Scholarship
SDHIA has established a Scholarship to support SDHIA AHIMA/CHIA Students who have completed 50% of their coursework towards a credential in HIM. SDHIA is committed to helping students complete their education and enable them to successfully embark on their HIM career path. Submit reference letters (one must be an academic reference) along with the SDHIA Scholarship Application. Applications can be submitted at any time during the 2016 – 2017 year until to February 15, 2017.
