President’s Message

Posted 7/26/17

Hello fellow IAHIA members, students, and advocates,

I am looking forward to an exciting year of fun-filled education in IAHIA. We strive to learn, share, volunteer, and have fun doing it. Our first educational session for 2017-2018 is scheduled on Aug 31, 2017 (details to come). Learning is a lifelong goal. We have the passion, drive, and commitment to make a difference.

Speaking of lifelong goals… I want to send a special recognition to those who work hard at earning their degree(s) for a lifetime of knowledge and to enhance their careers.

One special mention is to Tabitha “Taba” West, our IAHIA President-elect 2017-18. She earned her master’s degree in Health Information Management HIM from the College of St. Scholastica on July 28, 2017. CONGRATULATIONS Taba!

See you all in August!

Ana Tordilla, MBA, RHIT
