Health Record Analyst II (Coder)
In this position, you will assign ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 codes to diagnoses and procedures documented in inpatient and outpatient medical records.
Requires 2-3 years' of coding experience in an acute care facility; Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes and formal training in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding through an accredited education program or equivalent education/experience; and knowledge of APC and DRG assignment logic, National Correct Coding Initiative edits, Coding Clinic and CPT Assistant coding guidelines and the contents of a medical record.
